Hi, I'm Alex.

From as long as I can remember, I've always loved photography. A Kodak disposable camera was all I needed, and visiting Rite-Aid to develop those moments always prompted a rush of excitement to see how they'd turn out in those yellow envelopes. In 2011 I took a high school photography course, was gifted a Nikon D90 for my birthday with a "nifty fifty" lens, and haven't stopped shooting. There is always something to work on, strive towards, and be inspired by in this medium.

Coming from a family of jewelers, pilots, and specialists, I think we have each developed our own attention to detail, and I think you'll agree while viewing my work. There is beauty in every moment, and the joy comes in successfully capturing that feeling in a still image. Even though they are still, you can still feel an emotion of the scene. A photograph promotes the viewer to pause and think. And in these days, that's hard to come by.
